DEAR FRIEND!
We are happy that you are considering taking up Hungarian lessons. By acquiring a language we also learn about the culture and the people.
Magyar (pronounced /Mawdyar/) as we, Hungarians call our language, is spoken by the approximately 11 million inhabitants of Hungary, as well as another 4 million people in neighboring countries and a million others scattered around the world. Many feel that it is an impossible and very difficult language, due to little similarity to any other languages. The grammar may look too complex but on the other hand you need not to worry about the gender which makes other European languages hard.
So, if you would like to speak to any of those 11 (+4) milllion Hungarians in their very poetic and musical language or if you would like to understand their slightly pessimistic but hillarious humour, incidentally you may want to enjoy their hospitality and order some goulash (without being ripped off in a local restaurant) JOIN OUR HUNGARIAN CLASSES.
